Postpartum and still not feeling like yourself? You love your baby. You can also be exhausted, overwhelmed and wondering when you’re going to feel like you again. So often, when someone comes to see me before trying for their second baby, I ask how their first postpartum experience was. And the answer is, “It was really hard.” The fatigue. The hair loss. Feeding difficulties. Feeling emotionally all over the place. Trying to recover while looking after a tiny human. I want you to know you can ask for support now. You don’t have to wait until you’re preparing for another pregnancy. In clinic, we look at what you’re struggling with, your birth and recovery, nutrition, sleep, feeding and any symptoms that need further investigation. Support should be specific to you. That might mean practical nutrition strategies, reviewing relevant blood tests with your GP, or considering supplements or herbal medicine where appropriate. Anything used while breastfeeding needs an individual safety review. Milk supply concerns deserve skilled feeding support, and persistent low mood or anxiety deserves assessment. These aren’t things you need to push through on your own. And there isn’t a deadline for asking for help. Whether you’re six weeks or twelve months postpartum, how you’re feeling matters. If you’d like individual support, Mel is who I recommend on our team. Start with a free discovery call, have a chat about what you’re going through and go from there. Liverpool, Sydney and Australia wide via Zoom. www.nourishingapothecary.com #Postpartum #PostpartumSupport #MaternalHealth #PostpartumNutrition #NourishingApothecary
