YES I CAN FINALLY EXPLAIN IT TO SOMEONE! (I MADE YOU A LITTLE IMAGE WITH MICROSOFTWORD) So, Polaris (The north star) is almost directly allined with Earth rotation axis. Imagine Earth rotation axis as an enormous invisible line passing yroug North and South poles, extend that line in the space and you'll see that it points near Polaris. SO as Earth rotates Polaris being almost perfectly allined with the Earth axis it appears to stay still, and the other stars appears to make circular paths around Polaris. Hope is clear and sorry for my bad English!

Because the universe is expanding at the same rate as we’re traveling, giving the perception of fixed stars. Your example suggests that only our solar system is moving and nothing else around us.

Because we talking THOUSANDS OF LIGHT YEARS. These are incredible distances so even though we're moving what seems relatively fast to us, it's minuscule given the distances involved.

I think just based off of my basic knowledge if the stars were to change, we wouldn’t even be alive to see that difference because of how long the light from them takes to travel to earth. I don’t think y’all are understanding how far away these stars are and how slow the speed of light really is juxtaposed to the distance we are from the stars
