At this difficult moment, my thoughts and prayers are particularly with Alhaji Yinka Quadri, the entire family, friends, colleagues, and all those who were privileged to know and associate with Alhaji Hassan Ogogo. May Almighty Allah grant everyone the fortitude, strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss. Olorun a je ki odun jina si ara won. May Almighty Allah preserve those he has left behind and grant the departed eternal rest. I also celebrate and congratulate Alhaji Hassan Ogogo for an exceptionally fulfilled and impactful life. Indeed, he came, he saw, and he conquered. He made his mark, touched many lives, and left behind a legacy that will continue to speak for him. Death is an inevitable journey that awaits every soul. Our faith teaches us to constantly prepare for the Hereafter, because we never know when our appointed time will come. As believers, we should therefore strive to live righteously, do good, reconcile with one another, and leave behind a legacy worthy of remembrance. I sincerely believe that for the righteous and those who lived a life pleasing to Almighty Allah, the Hereafter is far better than this temporary world. May Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of Alhaji Hassan Ogogo, accept his good deeds, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family and loved ones the strength to carry on with courage and faith. May Almighty Allah also grant all of us the grace to live well, serve humanity, and, most importantly, end well. Ameen.
