there's no need to Q if there are additional routes....throughout my 50years of hiking if there's another route I would take it. I hike for pleasure, exercise and police and do not want to wait in a line to accomplish my goals....as long as its safe to do it I say go for it!

easy reason there's a queue. too many people on the top can make people push each other off, no one wants to fall, so they queue.
