I had a seizure at a bar I used to work at (told them I have seizures) and on this occasion both a manager and a supervisor saw me have the seizure. The manager on shift said “I don’t think you should be working here with the lights if you have seizures” so I told him I’m not photosensitive, I have seizures because of my MS. His response “oh, thought seizures were triggered by lights.” 🤦🏻‍♀️I go in the next night and it’s a different manager in shift who tried to put me in the cloak room (ALONE) so I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that especially as I had a seizure the night before and she was like “oh well you didn’t tell me that. I obviously wasn’t in last night so you should have dropped me a message to make me aware cause now I have to change the whole plan.” It’s not my responsibility to pass these messages on, it should have been logged and documented. Safe to say I quit after being there for only 2 months 🤦🏻‍♀️
