Here’s how you make it: - 250g skinless thigh (cubed up) - 300g chinese cabbage (bite sized) - 3 big shiitake shrooms - 100g oyster mushroom - 100g enoki shrooms - 1 pack of konjac (200g) - some green onion slice Sukiyaki Base: - 2-3 tbsp soy sauce - 1 thsp mirin or shaoxing wine (skip if you alcohol free then add 2 tsp or 10g honey for sweetness) optional dipping - 1 beaten egg (not included in total macros - do recommend though cause it adds heathy fats to the dish) Instruction: 1.Heat up 1-1.5L water in a pot then add your soy sauce + cooking booze 2.Prep all the ingredients and drop em in the boiling pot 3.That’s it How to make it affordable so you can eat hot pot daily: - Mushrooms are nice but in Australia they are 8 DOLLARS for 150g 🫪 so I’d skip them as well as konjac (they’re 4 dollars a pack) They’re great but who is spending 15 bucks a day on volume food ? - The main driver of the recipe is cabbage and lean meat (chicken, beef,…) + tons of stock, then add whatever is the most budget friendly for you like: - bok choy - yellow onion - look up some cheap substitutes If you’re still reading this, yes YOU, you Asian food addict, I got a whole fat loss cookbook full of traditional asian recipes link in my bio;) #protein #Recipe #asianhighprotein #gymfood #cutting
