My mother had to use this on my a few years ago. She forgot to mix it with the glucose in the tablet. USED THAT HUGE NEEDKE TO INJECT ME WITH 5ml SALINE 😭

I used expired glucagon kits to tesch my oldest kid how tonuse them, we used an orange in place of a person. the diabetes clinic gave me a few old kits to use. my husband was away for work for weeks at a time and I am hypo unaware, so they wanted him to learn, he was far too gleeful with that orange. but its good to know one of my kids knows how if he ever needs to

I unfortunately suffered from a seizure because of my sugars dropping below 1 in the night once. It woke my boyfriend up and once he realised what was happening, he immediately grabbed it and saved my life. otherwise I would have gone into a coma! Can't go anywhere without it😅

I've also seen it mentioned that ambulance crews no longer carry these as IV glucose is quicker, something to do with some type ones having liver diseases that would stop the glucose releasing
