Girls, I did it! I’m Azerbaijani and I’m involved in theater—it’s absolutely amazing. We laugh and have so much fun together—from table reads to picking out costumes with our stylist. And the table reads are just the best; I can memorize lines so incredibly fast—if I were the lead, I could learn them in five days, tops! We rehearse so much that we even swap roles sometimes. On show days, we sometimes do each other's makeup—or our stylist or we do it ourselves—and so much more. I’ve set my mind to it, and my family supports me too: I’m going to study and get into university in Azerbaijan, then become an actor in Türkiye. I’ve actually already performed in four plays! Sometimes we even write the scenes ourselves, which is also really cool. But the university I want most of all is NYU Tisch. Good luck to you all! 🎀✨️

l was thinking about going to a drama club and maybe a tv/media club too in school. i asked teacher about drama club and she said we will have it random days but mostly next year bcs there is competition in march but it feel weird bcs its not regular. also my family is friends with an actor and i want to text him but i think it would be better for my dad to do it bcs hes close with him but it would be stupid for my dad to text him if i like myb get role js for competition bcs he doesnt know my plan about acting. i was planning to start doing self tapes next spring bc i thought i’d be more experienced by then, but what if getting roles takes a long time? should i just start now instead of waiting?
