menstruation being considered dirty and women being forced to not fast on ramadhan if theyre on their period, thus having to ‘repay’ all by themselves after ramadhan is over kinda rubs me the wrong way too. People say its actually in favor of women since they deserve rest but I think women should be given a choice because i HATE having to fast for a week after ramadhan while all my friends and family get to eat just because i was too “dirty” to do a full month fast.
