Brazing is not welding; it is an adhesive process. That type of repair is prohibited by most car manufacturers.

silicon bronze doesn't break like a weld will if in a collision it bends it's funny how this was old school repair then it became not the industry standard and now it's back .

Right or wrong???? It’s exactly how I would have done it!! Other folks can do it their way I give Props… I’ve been in this business for 30+ yrs and tbh the insurance companies have us by the balls…do your best and try to get paid

The brazing is a cool method. But i only worried when after the panel replace the non magnetic line appears in dust after it is painted. I bet some clients are rubbing theyr head why it is there 😁

a few steel bodied land rovers use 30mm oval plugs that require silicon bronze for OEM repair. well done !
