Our mother was ki=ed by our father, I was 18, my brother and sister were 7 & 2, I dropped out of college after only being there 3 months, got full custody, and raised them up as my own ever since 2016.

im not the oldest but i have two little siblings and i have an older abusive brother who i know would hurt someone if this person didnt do as told ( i was that person ) so since i was 9 i stood before my siblings every time he raised his voice or hand. and if somebody may ask why my parents didnt do anything my father didnt care and my mother was too scared too say something. luckly my paeents are divorced and my father took this brother with him.

my oldest sister passed away in march. she was a tiny weak thing unfortunately from all of her illnesses. when i got into my atv accident a few years ago. she sprinted down the hill i fell on and was the first one by my side. she lifted the atv enough off of me with her adrenaline that i could breathe until my dad and another stranger could run over and grab it from her. then she used that same adrenaline to yank my unconscious body out from under it. i just remember her saying “i dont know how i even did that. i saw you werent moving and it made me panic.” that thing weighed about 4 and a half times her weight. i miss her everyday.

I stopped doing that. No matter how much I gave, it was always treated as the bare minimum never something to appreciate or even thank me for. Eventually, I realized their problems weren’t mine to carry. I have a life of my own to fix and that has to matter too

reminds me of the time when I had a seizure in class and as I was being reeled to the nurse's office, my older sister sprinted from a across the school because someone told her when she was in class.

My uncle stabbed and slashed Papa's chest, there was blood everywhere. When Papa told me to run, I grabbed them all 3 younger sibs while crying too. Walked an hour that night going to grandma's house. I was 9, I was a baby too... but I needed to be tough to get my siblings to safety.

My brother is 19. He told me he didn't want to move out of state with the family. I got pretty much disowned when I got him out of the house and moved in with me. It took 3 days. The family can hate me and trash my name all theyd like, I haven't seen my brother this happy and not isolating in years. He's my brother. I'll do it again for him.

my sister and I were in a accident it wasn't her fault some guy ran a light anyways my femur broke the door had crushed my leg. and I'll never. forgot my sister's screams of pleading someone to save me.

The time my sister was getting attacked by a friend of a friend and I heard her screaming across a pitch black field at our campsite and I couldn’t see anything but kept sprinting anyway.
