I do my best EVERYDAY. when I stay late its bc I CAN. there are days I CANT. but im not the only person in my department so ask someone else. and I hate it when management says "u knew what u signed up for when u got hired into maintenance".. sorry sir this aint the military 💯💯

What if I have never been the backup for them. Meaning since they hire me back my terms were that I would be working only from Monday to Friday and from 7am-2pm and they agreed. But due to shortage of employees now I’m the problem for not covering shifts. I’m a single mom and have no help at all and I have a daughter that I’m not able to take to school in the mornings, she has to walk alone 😭but I’m able to pick her up after school and now I’m the problem for just trying to help and staying 10 minutes after 2. I know if I started working there and always saying yes to staying longer, covering shifts they would get too comfortable and not bother hiring new employees which still is the problem. Am I wrong??!

I an the one 😫😫😫😫 but actually have been breaking the cycle for a month now and boy they are soooooo confused and now “ their plate it so full” I told one just last week I get paid to do 1 job not 8x!!! I’m done!!!
