25 years later and I’ve never heard this story. There have to be millions never heard. Someone needs to start a series of stories from 9/11 of the survivors. All of them. I’ve watched all the shows, documentaries, news stories and read the books. They all need to be documented.

Without a doubt Brian saved Stanley that day. But Brian maintains that Stanley saved his life as well. He was with coworkers in stairwell when he heard Stanley’s cries for help. While his group argued about going down or back up the stairs he grabbed Ron DiFrancesco and went to save Stanley. His coworkers went back up the stairs and Brian has said it’s likely he would’ve gone with them if he hadn’t heard Stanley’s voice. Ron went back to the stairs alone and initially went up trying to find their group but turned around to descend the stairs. The three men are believed to be the last three survivors to make it out of the south tower before it collapsed.
