@krismaviralfinds: Persephone, daughter of Demeter, was taken to the Underworld by Hades and became his queen. After eating pomegranate seeds, she was bound to return there for part of every year. According to the myth, Demeter’s grief during Persephone’s absence caused the earth to become cold and barren—creating fall and winter. When Persephone returned, Demeter’s joy brought life back to the earth, giving us spring and summer. 🌸🌿 #Persephone #GreekMythology #Hades #Mythology #GreekGods
