Academician should spare us sometimes with just the theories.1. How many gold purchasers were paying the withholding tax? How much did Ghana gained from gold smuggling out of the country in the past. We didn’t even have data on gold exports from the shores of Ghana. Today there is a system in place rather than telling us how to improve on it as a country, you are only focusing on accounting losses.
