Your inner voice vs reality 🗣️ When I finally decided to hit record on my first video, I was TERRIFIED. I pressed record and I could hardly talk. I found it cringe. I didn’t like the way I sounded. I didn’t like the way I looked. And for a while, I carried these beliefs. And I figured out why. Because the environment I grew up around didn’t like you doing anything out the norm. They all copied each other out of the fear of being judged. Out of the fear of not fitting in. But, I finally decided to break that mould. I’d already clicked record which was out of the norm. So why couldn’t I like the way I spoke on camera? Why couldn’t I express my passion through social media? Why couldn’t I help others who were in a similar position to me with their finances? And it’s taken me a while to get here, and it may do for you too. But just remember, they’ll make fun of you. They’ll take the p*ss. But after a while, they forget, because they’re too focused on their own lives. And what you do now will just become part of how they see you. Don’t you think pursuing it at least is better than not at all? At least you’ll never live a life of ‘what-if’s’. And trust me, you’ll get so much support from random people online - it’s actually quite nice!
