Remember when iPhone came out and everyone was showing up the lighter app that let you blow out the flame? That’s literally how ai is and people are bored of that version now

Theory: most of the hype was in the area of scaffolding and harnesses, which the AI providers got REALLY good at providing. If correct, the most capable are currently thinking of what value they can provide which isn't later captured by a model update.

my feelings too. I took a step back for a couple months now because it felt like too much crap to make sense on. coming back now, yes the tech is getting better, but the core skillset of what is needed and best practices have stabilized.

We haven’t had a frontier model with a context greater than 1M. I understand this is not a techie channel , but time complexity prevents bigger context windows from being implemented 😅
