@metroentertainment: Ridley Scott has officially decided “filmmaker” isn't the right word for him anymore. The legendary director behind Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator says he now considers himself an “influencer” rather than a filmmaker. Explaining his thinking, Scott said he's often been “ahead of the game” with his movies and argued that being ahead of the curve makes someone an influencer. The 88-year-old director is still showing no signs of slowing down, with The Dog Stars starring Jacob Elordi, Margaret Qualley and Josh Brolin as his latest project.
