to me bong don’t blame it on gen z to be fair to them. because the reading culture is never embedded in all gen. since gen boomer. our parents teach us to be a survivor to fit in society. but never motivate the child to read or to explore.
I still collect books here and there but it’s just more convenient reading from e devices

For me, physical books are quite expensive nowadays, but we have e-books, and I prefer reading e-books because they’re more convenient and cheaper than physical books. However, I still buy the physical books I really love or by my favorite authors.
Food and drinks are essential for everyday survival, but books aren’t. As someone who loves reading, I can tell you that it can take weeks to finish a book because you have work, school, and other responsibilities too. And honestly, singling out one generation is unfair. I’m so tired of seeing Gen Z constantly being the target of these social media posts. Every generation has its own habits and priorities.

Don’t know about Genz, but as a genY I loved to hold books especially the original ones. The smells, the paper and the cover just feel different. But the current economy hits hard, I have lost interest in reading and focus on skills and survival instead.
Hmmm understand the trend nowadays តែខ្ញុំចូលចិត្តអានសៀវភៅ ទោះជាពេលខ្លះហត់ជាមួយការងារមិនអាច focus អានបាន តែការអានជួយឲ្យជីវិតដ៏មមាញញឹក exhausted មកជាslow down and let my emotions take a rest.
