those traits arent inherently feminine. schools usually rewards behaviors that make learning easier such as attention/focus, organization, discipline, and cooperation. BOTH boys and girls can have those traits, and neither gender owns them. its more of a basic human trait, to respect the person talking infront, listening, and so on. but i do have to say, some or alot of teachers immediately grade a boy worse than a girl due to favoritism, and also the stereotype they have in which boys are the ones who are messy, cause chaos, and girls are the calm and good kids (im not saying they arent) even though that same boy is also someone that respects the teacher, actively listens in class, and doesnt act up or interrupt the teacher. thats the problem a lot of schools actually do have.

Being neat and organized should not be considered feminine, maybe we should look at what the males are doing in the class, maybe they aren’t doing as well and aren’t focusing, look at that instead of teachers biases that make no sense because what teacher does that and isn’t already problematic. This video is absolute bs we need to stop calling girls, especially young ones the problem when we should be calling out the teaching system, I’m sure if this is even a real statistic it is creepy men teachers. Side note a lot of males do get graded lower but that is their own fault we shouldn’t blame gender on any of this.

Fun fact, I was in college and there was this girl I liked, and she didn't study so I gave her all the answers to the quantum mechanic test we had. She got 16/20, I got 11/20, same exact answers from start to finish (we cracked tho)

Why can't boys just be more like us. I feel like it's the fact that parents teach boys bad behavior as "boys being boys" while they don't make excuses for girls. They did this to their own children.

well yes, you have good behavior, your neat, and you listen, your not causing disruptions and your trying to learn. That's something both boys and girls should do. So yes, parents should be concerned about this, because it's a societal standard for girls not to act up and to be neat, but "boys will be boys" teachers tend to have leniency towards kids who behave and don't cause issues. It was never that boys are getting less of an opportunity, it's that their behavior is getting them less leeway. Being neat, learning, and being orderly are skills we expect from adults. They have to be learned, so why is it that girls can understand it and get it but boys can't? You're concerned about the wrong thing.
