I wonder if that applies to stressful circumstances that arent exactly in your control but putting the best effort forward is the best thing you can do early on. And that issue/concern may be hindering with overwhelm and cancer shutting down being the negative reaction that does not benefit the situation, even after the best and most effort is put forward
