@fits.app: A lot is changing in the wardrobe app space and of course I‘m closely following the latest trends and what apps are the most popular ones to get dressed. Here's an updated part 4 of my digital closet app comparison series with the top 5 wardrobe apps tested and reviewed. Some of the latest trends that Fits and some of the other apps added: - Wardrobe importing (extract pretty clothing images with Al from) - Style assistants (chat + outfit suggestions of course) - Beautify images so your snaps look like professional packshots. Pioneered by Fits, now available in most of the other apps. 1. Fits Outfit Planner & Closet The best overall wardrobe apps tested. Clean design, smart styling features and outfit suggestions and a fun community to discover new styles. Definitely give this one a try. It also has a very convenient way to scan your phone‘s camera roll to find outfit pics of you and import your clothes from them. 2. Acloset Acloset has been around for a while and remains one of the most used wardrobe apps for good reason: from outfit planning to an AI stylist for outfit recommendations. Acloset offers a lot, sometimes even a bit too much of everything. The biggest drawback is the 100 item limit on the free plan. Still a great choice for smaller closets. 3. Alta Ok this is the new kid on the block. Focusing primarily on a virtual try on avatar, Alta lets you plan outfits and get outfit suggestions both from clothes you own as well as ones you might want to buy. Categories are a bit limited and there is no way to create outfit collage mood boards but you can try it for free so give it a shot. 4. Essembl If you are into styling apps you probably saw an ad or video about Essembl already. They got pretty viral on social media but we think the app is over hyped. Yes you get outfit suggestions and it’s a cool option for men as well. But there is no free plan and the app looks and feels a bit dated. 5. SimpleCloset The easy alternative if you only need the basics and don’t want to have any AI. It gets the job done but it’s noticeably more work to onboard your wardrobe to the app. There is no enhancement to make your clothes look sharp and the categories and materials have to be entered manually. If you‘ve been using the notes app or nothing at all so far this might be for you, but otherwise I‘d recommend one of the other apps. Also keep in mind SimpleCloset has a 30 wardrobe item limit on the free plan. And that’s it. Which closet and wardrobe apps are you using to plan your outfits? Are you into the idea of an AI stylist recommending looks or using virtual try on to picture outfits without having to try on 20 variations? Then most of those apps are a cool option for you. Fits can also be used without AI and an unlimited wardrobe size completely for free. Most apps are available on iPhone and Android, Alta is even available on the web. #styling #fashionhack #wardrobe #outfitplanning Let me know what your top picks are in the comments 👇
