This could be a STRONG caption but imma say it anyway… because the real issue is confusing purchasing a service with purchasing authority over the person providing it. The hardest part about coaching isn’t teaching. It’s dealing with entitlement. Some people pay for a program and somehow convince themselves they purchased the right to disrespect the person who created it. Let me make something VERY clear: You paid for my services. You did not purchase me. I do not work for you. This is an exchange of value. I have knowledge, experience, strategy, intellectual property, access, and expertise that you need to help expand and scale your business. You have money you’re willing to exchange for access to those services. That’s business. Payment does not erase boundaries. Payment does not eliminate basic respect. And payment definitely does not give you permission to speak to me any kind of way because I’m the coach, founder, or CEO. Some people have confused customer service with servitude. And baby… those are NOT the same thing. 😂 The only reason Jesus is still out here saving lives some days is because I know Him AND I’ve developed enough emotional maturity, emotional regulation, and self-control to shut up before I say exactly what I’m thinking in exactly the way I’m thinking it. 😭😂 Because growth taught me something: I can correct disrespect without becoming disrespectful. I can enforce a boundary without losing control. And I can refund, remove, restrict access, or simply say NO without explaining myself into exhaustion. Being a paying client gives you access to the service you purchased. It does not give you ownership of the person providing it. Please learn the difference. #BusinessBoundaries #CoachingBusiness #Entrepreneurship #EmotionalIntelligence #Leadership
