@tvcuglobal: The Met Office is warning that a weather event called El Niño is developing in the Pacific Ocean and could be the strongest ever seen in living memory. An El Niño happens every two to seven years and is a natural climate pattern caused by warmer-than-normal ocean temperatures, which raises global temperatures and increases extreme weather around the world. Severe drought is expected in South America and southern Africa, while the UK and Europe are set to experience more intense stormy weather this autumn as a result. #elnino #metoffice #pacificocean #drought #storms
