On the one hand, it felt insane to be so concerned about reading at ages 5&6. On the other hand, my daughter can now read at grade level in sixth grade.

As someone who never plans on having kids, I literally want my taxes going to schools and other children’s programs! It benefits everyone and supports everyone !!

I love that more money is going to mental health support. Can we get full time guidance counselors (social workers, etc) in every single school? Perhaps 2 in schools that are chronically underserved…
