“Emily was horrible” so was lorelai her parents would just breathe and she would find a fault in that. Emily was not the best parent and lorelai was valid for how she felt. But the constant victim playing and painting them as these horrible ppl when literally all they wanted was the best for them even in their own flawed ways. I am not defending Emily and Richard but lorelai fought to never make an effort.Rory literally went to them and continued Friday night dinners through her own choice and she is still calling them manipulative not to mention the Friday night dinners is literally to spend time with them.Imagine getting tuition for scl in return of just spending one dinner a week w ur grandparents. Why don’t they ever want to see the grandparents like I don’t understand. Of all the clips that I see of the show they’re always asking for money or asking for help, but they never want to be around the grandparents. I watched thus show partially years ago. I don’t remember entirely, but they seem kind of shitty.
