My in laws made a pocket door to fix that problem. If you have room to do that with the brown door that would be ideal I think.

Removing closet doors and having an open pantry sounds awful to me. It would have to constantly be perfectly organized or it would look too sloppy. I’d just take off the door into the house and flip it so it opens the other way and not into the pantry doors.

You could do double barn doors that slide over each other you’d only be able to have one side open at a time tho

I would expect everyone would learn to close the doors before trying to close the outside door. If they don’t, i guess they get to deal with the consequences. Lol

The ceiling paint: That's mostly paint boogers. They left the paint bucket open to skim over, shook/mixed it, and didn't strain it.

taking the doors off the pantry is probably the easiest move for the short term, but they do make some really cute bifold doors now too that could replace the one big door!

I think a set of curtains would look fine. Better than having nothing to hide the pantry chaos. If you placed a curtain rod above the door trim versus placing a rod in the door way it my just look like a large window when the curtains are shut
