Don’t listen to this BS, No, you cannot daisy‑chain monitors with a normal DisplayPort cable unless the monitors support MST and have a DisplayPort OUT port.

I won't say it's misinformation, but it's definitely incomplete information. You need special display port cables, compatible GPU, and monitors. Also for gaming you def don't want to daisychain as that limits the bandwidth for each monitor.

DP’s can come with a extra pin if they aren’t made correctly the pin will connect whens its not supposed to and itll cook your graphics card
