Lmao the one vendor didn’t have the dress I paid for, came three days later to tell me,she doesn’t have it and yet she couldn’t refund me, bcuz she has a no refund policy, lmao girl you don’t have what I paid for, can I get my money back ?? Talmbout I will have to wait till she sells again, over two weeks n I haven’t gotten a refund, these vendors are funny as hell.

I’m always the first to initiate a refund once the order doesn’t go as planned, maybe due to fabric choices or anything else. I initiate a refund immediately, I don’t know what’s it with nigeran brands and no refund policy

This is getting conflicting, so I need a little advice. As a business owner who deals with custom-made products(the product doesn't come to life until a customer orders it based on their size, preferred colours and alterations), how would I manage a case where a refund is suddenly being demanded AFTER I have clearly communicated the process of production, finalized the order and started working on the piece? I’m asking in advance(hopefully it never happens) because I always believed that in such a case, the money cannot be refunded as it has already gone into purchasing materials, and I can’t tell if another customer with that same details(size, colour preference and alteration) will ever purchase the item from me. Most of all, that would be a huge loss for a small business like mine.

Ahh my own case was I ordered a pair of sneakers online when I got it I couldn’t find the shoelace in the box and I messaged the lady and she was first like that’s not possible then later she apologized that it was a mistake from her sales rep, Oya madam correct your mistake she said she can’t pay the delivery fee for me to get the shoelace, I was like WTF and later she turned it on my head and said I didn’t specify for the shoelace to be added, and I said who buys sneaker without the shoelace, I had to go to the market to buy another lace for the sneakers ooo because that was cheaper than paying for delivery that wasn’t even my own mistake

I had a customer pay a deposit for 2 bags, then 3 days later say she no longer wanted the bags and demanded a refund. I offered an exchange or i send one of the bags she made a deposit for,she still got upset. In that situation, is a refund really expected?

Tbh some vendors be doing too much!!! If i don’t have a particular product available i tell my customer immediately that i can help them get it on request and let them know as a small business owner we sometimes can’t stock up on some things unless requested….90% out of 100% buy after my explanation and that way we are good,if i don’t find it in the market i send options to them if they’re willing to change or still refund.
