when i worked for the post office they quite literally set bait to test you. i’d oftem a across mailboxes with cash just sitting in them openly . never once even considered taking it, anyone with good sense should have the discernment to peep the set ups

Postal worker here 👋🏾. Post office will randomly place bait mail on your route to test you. I’ve had several envelopes addressed to people with physical cash clear as day in the envelope. You can see the cash like you can see the name and address. Purposely. Several on different routes too. I can’t believe they did this. Being caught was inevitable. They will literally let you keep going. You think you under the radar but your building their case.

I used to be a mail carrier and I never understood why ppl stole. Please know that you will ALWAYS get caught. The postal inspectors live for stuff like this
