The real story isn’t like that btw. They’re actually going through a family issue: the kid asked their mom to divorce their dad, she refused, so the kid threatened to kill themselves. The mom offered to buy them an iPhone, and actually the kid didn’t really dare to actually do it, it was just a bluff. So when the dad tried to pull them back, the kid stepped back, thinking the distance was still too far, but they slipped because the dad was yanking them too hard, and since the dad was holding the kid’s hand, they both fell together. The mom saw it, was shocked, and jumped in too. The media now is scary, when they make up a story they like to add things so it becomes a trending topic. Btw my source is from an Indian commenter who was actually there at the scene, but people only know the story as the kid forcing their mom to buy them an iPhone, even though the real story isn’t like that.
