I mean you can't force people out to the world just because one of them is out and ready, this is new to him, his first time dating a man and he's still trying to figure it out and is scared to be judged by his peers/society, it's gonna take time. He barley started feeling comfortable in private and still struggles some, so imagine in public it's gonna take more time but it doesn't mean he doesn't feel something for him, it's just all new to him. The other guys expecting him to be all in and open like him and not care what others think but he's had more time to sit with it he isn't a newbie and yes it hurts what he said denying it but like I said he's scared of the judgment this it's all something new he is dealing with since before he only dated women, he's trying to navigate it the best he can. He will make mistakes along the way as we are seeing but I'm sure in the end he will figure it out.

I dont think its just about him being a man because of how quick he was to accept his feelings ask the guy out on a date it didnt seem to bother him all that much. I think the main problem stems from the way the guy goes about showcasing his affection for him. He was a asshole that insults everything about him everytime they interacted. Only to find out he acted that way because he was inlove with him and jealous because he wasnt paying attention to him in the way he wanted which was entirely his own fault. He literally kissed him out of nowhere in their police station which is a waking nightmare for two grown JAPANESE men. And then proceeded to insult the essence of who he was which was how big and soft his heart was. 😭its a complicated situation because honestly he deserves better than that guy who cant even make his own mind up
