The black friends we had in our friend group left cuz we disagreed with the violence of the BLM movement and chose to not talk about it. We just wanted to play smash bros, and Yugioh. I miss when everything didn't have to be political, and we could just agree to disagree.

Growing up in the ‘90s in a tiny farming community in the Midwest I was taught about racism, but it was always in past tense. It always felt like a problem that was left in the past. Sure, there still was some I was ignorant of, but for the most part it was pretty calm out there. But during the Obama reign I remember thinking that they were going to abuse the racism accusations until they forced people to actually become racist again. And here we are.

It’s about forgiveness you can be sorry but if the person you are giving you’re sorry to will not forgive you then it’s all for nothing as an example we literally dropped a nuclear bomb twice on Japan they forgave us and now they are literally one of our strongest allies , the problem is when you say you’re sorry and the people aren’t giving forgiveness. They’re looking to punish you for what you did instead of forgiving you that’s where we’re at.
