Emergency responder here. This young man had a bone sticking out of his finger. An ambulance is absolutely warranted simply because he could easily go into Hypovolemic shock, which can be FATAL. Additionally, his mother’s reaction is fairly standard, not everybody is equipped to handle such things even if it’s your own child. Nobody did anything wrong here AT ALL. Hope you’re okay bro.

Today’s ERs are always packed with people getting basic medical care so wait times are absurd. Pay for the ambulance ride. The immediate care you’ll get once you arrive is worth it!

If you can see the bone, yes that’s a valid emergency. People in the comments are silly for saying otherwise. She got you care; composure doesn’t matter as long as you arrived to safety.

Let’s be real you panicked for maybe 5 seconds I think you handled this great! Even if you panicked longer than what we see that’s exactly what an ambulance is for! This is an emergency and you needed effective emergency transportation!

why is everyone getting so pressed he's literal BONE was out his finger and his mom had JUST come out of the shower so everyone needs to stop going on about why he was overreacting over his finger 😭cause clearly if your bone is Sticking OUT your finger you gonna be confused and scared and if you just come oy of the shower and your family is screaming t you that they see their bone OUT their finger you're obviously gonna PANICC mom was actually rlly doing well in the situation
