The rich will leave as 80 percent of the tax receipts come from top 10 . So yes that is an issue.

Question: if someone leaves the US and owes the IRS this exit tax, how is it enforced? For example if the person moved to Zambia, and doesn’t plan to visit the US ever again, how does the US enforce the tax laws?

Why does EVERYONE assume that the rich ONLY hold liquid assets? Most of their money will be in property or shares which can very easily be seized provided they want to run away from the tax man 😅

when the billions of pounds during covid spent on ppe and we got nothing to show for it. and the government when oh well cant get that back because its been sent to Switzerland or other offshore accounts. if I owed the goverment money they would take it. when its thier billionare pals its fine because the money is gone. we dont matter we are just a big bag of money for the conpanies to milk dry. open your eyes.
