@dweetle: A train. On steel wheels. At 574 km/h. 😳 In 2007, France’s specially modified TGV V150 reached 574.8 km/h, setting the world speed record for a conventional wheeled train. No magnetic levitation. Just steel wheels, rails, extreme engineering, and years of testing. The record-breaking train was heavily modified with more powerful motors, larger wheels, improved aerodynamics, and technology designed to keep the train stable at extreme speeds. It wasn’t built for everyday passenger service. It was an engineering experiment designed to push conventional rail technology to its limits. And somehow, 19 years later, that number still sounds unreal. Follow @dweetle for more. DM us for credits or removal. #Engineering #HighSpeedRail #Technology #Innovation #Dweetle
