Fun fact Uk🇬🇧 national dish is chicken tikka masala made by a Bengali🇧🇩 man called Ali Ahmed Aslam in Scotland however on paper it says he’s Pakistani becuz the dish was made in 1970s Bangladesh got its independence from Pakistan in 1971 that’s why😁

I agree with you, Bengali food over Pakistani food mainly because the flavours are more rich and tasty. Their food is so diverse and they’re good at cooking or grilling meat, chicken, all types of seafood, vegetables, all types of desserts and teas. Also another factor is Bengali food unlike Pakistani food isn’t covered head to toe in oil which is off putting for me, so Bengali cuisine wins. Great video.

You need to try a Bangladeshi curry called Khala Bhuna. Very deep flavour. Also try Bengali street food snacks

Most Indian restaurants are Bangladeshi, back then Bangladesh was part of India when these restaurants were established and they became super popular, they never bothered changing the name, but recently restaurants are changing the names, but the cuisine is mostly same with a slight variation.

Bangladeshi food is so diverse, there are so many dishes we cook that nobody gets to try because there are no authentic Bangladeshi restaurants apart from in London, brick lane. But we have everything from miniature fish curries to massive fish curries and so many varieties of fish, prawn, chicken, vegetable, mutton, lamb curries. You can’t make an analysis until you’ve tried it all.
