Yes, Indians did fight for this country. My own grandad came from India and fought for Britain. He even buried his own brother at sea. So when you say Indians were “forced” to fight, I think that completely overlooks the individual people who actually served and the sacrifices they made. My grandad fought for this country and believed in the rights and life it offered, including having a British passport. Whatever the wider history or politics were, you can’t erase the personal sacrifices people like my grandad made. He was there, he fought, and he lost his brother ❤️
