I am self-teaching myself how to cook/bake, so I’m sorry if this is a super silly question. I’ve been scooping my measuring cup into flour and then leveling. Why do we need to use a spoon to put flour into the measuring cup, instead, and are there other ingredients we should be using a spoon for, too? I’ve been doing it wrong the whole time. 😅

With flour, if you store it in a square container, can also heap scoop and drag it up the side which saves the double handling.
