@kara_marlene: This was brutal. 😳⚖️ Reddington goes back to something Dr. Mac told the jury on Friday about a childbirth-related tear and the medical terminology around it. Then Red asks the question that changes the entire energy: “Did somebody tell you over the weekend that you were wrong?” WHEW. Because now this isn’t just about whether Dr. Mac misspoke. It’s about whether he gave the jury incorrect medical information… then came back after the weekend trying to soften, reframe, or clean it up. And Red was absolutely NOT letting him glide past it. Dr. Mac starts saying he doesn’t remember the exact wording. Red keeps dragging him back to the same point: What did you tell the jury Friday? And did someone explain to you afterward that what you said was not medically accurate? That is such a bad place for an expert witness to be. Experts can make mistakes. Of course they can. But if you’re testifying in a case this serious, and your testimony is being used to help a jury understand medical evidence, then accuracy matters enormously. And when cross-examination starts exposing corrections, uncertainty, and backtracking? The jury notices. Red noticed. And everybody watching noticed. At this point, Dr. Mac’s cross isn’t just about his conclusions anymore.
