@coachjv_: The bond market is sending a message, and I believe investors need to understand the mechanics behind it, not panic over the headlines. When confidence in government debt weakens and bond yields rise, the cost of capital moves higher. Governments pay more to finance debt. Businesses pay more to borrow. Consumers feel it through mortgages, credit cards, and loans. At some point, financial conditions can become tight enough that policymakers face pressure to respond with more liquidity, lower rates, or other forms of intervention. This is where scarce assets become important. Bitcoin. Gold. Silver. These assets are very different, but they share something important. Their supply cannot simply be expanded the same way fiat currency can. When investors become concerned about debt, inflation, currency purchasing power, or financial system risk, capital can start looking for alternatives. This is one of the mechanisms behind why we can see Bitcoin, gold, and silver move higher during periods of monetary uncertainty. That doesn’t mean these assets only go up. It doesn’t mean the bond market is guaranteed to break. It means you need to understand the relationship between debt, liquidity, interest rates, currency confidence, and scarce assets.
