I once said to my interviewer…hire me and I will forgive you. She apologized for keeping me waiting, so when I got up I very confidently just said with a smile and walking beside her…that’s okay hire me and I will forgive you! I got the JOB!

Stand tall, look the interviewer in the eye, as soon as you leave the interview, write a handwritten thank you for the interview and mail it THAT day.

I think questions are important but I don't like feeling like they are interviewing me. I like honest questions, and even challenging questions but I think people need to be self-aware and not necessarily rambling. Being prepared is extremely important. In healthcare, there are some guaranteed questions. If people don't answer those well, I feel that speaks to a lack of preparation. Energy is key.
