As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." As Christians we should not be treating other people with disrespect just because of who they are. God calls us to love others as He loves us. Jesus sat with the sinners, he sat with the tax collectors, he forgives killers. The least we can do as humans and as children of God is treat other humans with love and respect and kindness. How can we as Christians continue to treat other people with utter hate and disrespect but get upset when people do that to us and our relationships with God? It’s behavior like this that gives Christians a bad wrap. Not all of us are like this but we get grouped in because of behavior like this.
