Leave a #📦 if you like! 🤭 After passing this meadow on my way to work and the dreamy white floral abundance calling out to me - I finally could not resist gathering some of the wild cow parsley. 😇 It is admittedly a short lived joy for once brought home the little petals start falling after a couple of days - nevertheless a beautiful bounty of natural homedecor I do not want to miss out on bringing home in spring! ⚠️ Do mind to not mix it up with the poionous hemlock! ⚠️ THE UNBOXING of my delivery didn’t go as planned but eventually luck was on my side! 😅 I happened to find both at the same time: An original vintage undershirt from »Fogey Unlimited« with an inserted bib front and the reproduction hauler shirt by »Pike Brothers Company« 😃 It had been quite some time that I was on the lookout for these and so I bought them at once! 😎 The vintage one was a new old stock so I gave both of them an initial wash to get rid of any possible finish they might have been treated with. 🧺 To my frustration the rare original, despite having the right collar size turned out to be a little bit on the tight side regarding the collar when it came out of the laundry and was overall too small for me. I want to stress that this is reflecting on me daringly taking a chance when ordering and not being yet familiar and underestimating my new to me size and therefore poorly judgement 💩 In no part to blame is Mr Fogey who offers the most remarkable vintage menswear in his online shop and had disclosed the correct measurements! 👍🏻 I loved this vintage garment’s long back though which the new reproduction (probably to appeal to the contemporary customer I guess) sadly lacks.
