Y’all… It’s not whitewashing… it’s just fixing the light values 😭✌️when you invert colors, the values of said colors get changed, which messes with how it looks. If she kept the hair and skin the same, the colors would be far too similar and not create enough visual contrast. This is a basic principle in art, not racism.
