From my point of view taste is an expression of art assimilation and cultural exposure. What the algorithms are showing people is visually pleasant imaginery but curation is far more complicated than putting cohesive objects together.

There is something about intuition that hasn’t been captured by AI . A good example is the “ divine move” that Lee Sedol did against alpha go . It was a move that had never been done by any human in history . It was something that was never accounted for by AI , and was derived in minutes by the human mind . For the AI it would have taken much longer to find a single instance of something that has never happened .
