Mr. Abdul, I normally enjoy your program, but hiding under the banner of democracy to veil your opposition to government policies is clear to the blind. Making examples of France and New York will not cut it. A serial contender and desperate politicians mouthing "populist policy " should have ordinarily engage your intellectual curiosity. Instead you are aiding in talking about "lived experiences " What even informed your educated mind that a man who breaks promises to not jump parties, take the opposite direction of the fuel policy he vow to pursue will keep to his word? I am not even talking of his inability to detail how he's going to effect and fund his desperate populist idea to deceive ordinary Nigerians who naturally will be excited without a thought for longterm or future generations. His idea of selling crude at discounted price will definitely reduce the federal income and encourage a revert to smuggling our cheaper fuel outside of the country by Atiku's elite friends and not the ordinary Nigerians that he's trying to deceive. Maybe now that we are on the path of economic development and growth, he wants to come with his old PDP mindset to squander our on going increase in our foreign reserve, It won't work. Don't pretend offering choices to Nigerians. You have a patriotic obligation to choose a side that is futuristic and sustainable. We patriotic Nigerians see you! Sitting on the fence has exposed your bias! Let each FAAC receiving state subsidize fuel, weddings , religious pilgrimage etc as they want, Sorry, no going back to subsidize Atiku's friends. You are underestimating the level of enlightenment amongst Nigerians as of today. He could be deceiving a particular region because of votes. Get it straight!! His pronouncement terrifies no one!! It a terrible setback for him.

No matter how twisted the narrative may be, the removal of the fuel subsidy was a necessary step away from an economic model that had kept Nigeria struggling for decades. Nigeria needs to move forward, not return to the economic conditions that held the country back from the 1960s through 2023. Every positive economic indicator should be encouraged, and we should never wish for any individual, political party, or administration to pull Nigeria backward because of tribal or religious sentiments. Under the Obasanjo/Atiku administration, many federal government institutions were privatized, and I believe some of those decisions put the country at a disadvantage for decades. We should not allow the same mistakes to be repeated or allow Nigeria to be dragged back into the Stone Age. God forbid. Mr. Abdul, your channel appears to carry some political undertones. If you support Atiku, there is nothing wrong with stating it openly rather than presenting political opinions as impartial analysis. Nigerians deserve honest debate, not narratives designed to mislead or manipulate the gullible. Enough of the hand-to-mouth politics and perpetual economic excuses. Nigeria deserves to stand tall, build a stronger economy, and create sustainable prosperity. I believe President Tinubu's administration is working, and there is progress to be seen in several areas. What Nigeria needs now is continuity, patience, accountability, and a commitment to building on the gains rather than returning to the failures of the past.

Mr Abdul, a critical question, where do you think Nigeria would have been without the removal of fuel subsidy?
