There are jobs in DFW but they are skill jobs. If you have no skills DFW is a very difficult place to survive. Cash register operators, warehouse workers, Fry cooks, Drivers (Amazon or Uber) are not skills.

I applied for one job that had PLENTY of openings, and I had experience in that position. I got a call and did a phone interview. The interview went well I later received a email saying that “I don’t fit the requirements for the position, and they can not move forward with my application”. I’ve had this happen to me on many occasions.

I love it here moved here last year my husband got a job within a month being here and promoted to a higher position in less than a year being here. Also bought a house within a year so DFW has done us well
