Personally, I couldn’t finish the show because I felt really grossed out by how fucking forced the ship was. It just feels really weird knowing the characters are supposed to be like 13 and they’re flirting so heavily. Why can’t we wait till they’re 14-15 to more imply things? You know, when they started doing that in the books?

bro you could tell from the first book that they were endgame, it’s very cliche in a good way. the whole boy and girl meets and don’t immediately like each other/get along, girl has a small crush on someone else older that obviously don’t reciprocate, boy and girl has to fight each other, etc. all very by the book stuff. it was very obvious, so i’m curious how ppl don’t think it was a central plot

everyone wants to undervalue romance and make it seem like their favorite thing is too cool to focus too much on it. the dynamic between Percy and Annabeth (the many facets of if) IS central and… that’s okay. it doesn’t mean the story has any less merit.

Like I think people need to read the other series as well because then that truly shows you how much each of them all are about each other. Annabeths POVs are so good.

The whole series plot was about love, platonic and romantic. He was also about to confess in ttc. People just want them to have no chemistry until the last season it seems.

All of the Percy Jackson series is about love I fear. Love for his friends, family, the camp, Annabeth, etc. IT IS LITERALLY PERCY SHOWING HIS LOVE AND LOYALTY.
