Why don't they understand that their explanation is simply not believable from Elul's perspective? Telling someone, "I married the person who has your kidney because I wanted revenge" sounds like a made-up story. People marry for relationships, love, or other personal reasons, not usually because they want revenge, especially when the couple is clearly happy together. I honestly think they should all live separately until Elul has had enough time to heal and forgive them. Their expectation that she should immediately be loving and friendly with them is too much. At the same time, Eylul also needs to tell them clearly to stop expecting that from her until she's ready, instead of constantly arguing with them.
